June 18, 2026, Daventry, UK – Cummins Inc., a global leader in power technology, expanded its award-winning Centum high-power generator portfolio by launching new gensets powered by the QSK78 engine platform. Designed for regions with standard 50Hz power supply including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America, the product delivers reliable standby and prime power for data centers, top-tier hospitals, wastewater treatment plants and other mission-critical facilities .

 

Equipped with a 78-liter V18 diesel engine, the genset reaches a maximum standby power of 3500kVA and a rated standby output of 3300kVA under 50Hz operation. It offers scalable Tier 2 and low-NOx emission options. Featuring rapid load response, robust load acceptance and a compact footprint, the unit greatly cuts civil construction and installation expenses for large-scale AI computing parks and industrial zones.
