Cummins Power Generation Launches QSK78 High-Power Centum Series Generator Sets for Global 50Hz Markets

Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) has officially expanded its award-winning high-horsepower generator portfolio, launching new generator sets built on the QSK78 V18 engine platform to serve global 50Hz regions including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America. The new units deliver top-tier stability, load capacity and low-carbon performance, specially tailored for data centers, hospitals, wastewater plants and other mission-critical facilities that require uninterrupted power supply.

The QSK78 is a 78-liter displacement V18 diesel engine, with standby power up to 3500kVA at 50Hz. It supports both EPA Tier 2 and low-NOx emission configurations, capable of working as backup standby power or continuous prime power for large-scale industrial parks and AI computing campuses. Compared with traditional high-power gensets, this model features higher power density and a compact overall footprint, which greatly reduces civil construction space and long-term operation costs for end users.

All matching alternators adopt 100% full copper windings, equipped with intelligent AVR voltage regulation system, featuring ultra-low temperature rise, minimal power loss and extended service life. Every complete unit finishes full-load factory testing before delivery, with built-in automatic parallel synchronization control module to support multi-unit joint operation without extra on-site debugging.
